The School Age Child Care Program at the YMCA is currently accepting Interest Form Applications for the 2025-2026 School Year.  Somerville Public Schools return on Wednesday, August 27th for 1st-7th and September 2nd for Kindergarten.  All applications must be received no later than Friday August 22nd, in order for your child to begin on the first day of school.

Program Ages:

5* to 13

*Must have turned five (5) by September 1st, 2025 and be enrolled in an SPS Elementary School or a PHA Charter School in Kindergarten.

Activities Include:

  • Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math (STEAM Activities)
  • Somerville Community Growing Center Partnership
  • Outdoor time at local parks
  • Swim/Gym
  • Snack
  • Recreational Games
  • Reading/Literacy
  • Field trips on vacation weeks.

**Program Cost:

$63 per day for a full day, vacation day or early release day

$42 per day for a regular afterschool day.

$310 Vacation Weeks and Summer

**Y Youth membership is included for children ages 6-13 if your child attends the SACC Program.  grants access to the Y Swim Lessons at Member Price
