Skills Competition Information and Rules

Time: 1:30 a round.

Player cannot shoot from same spot twice in a row

There will be 5 spots to shoot from

Top of the key 3 pointer (5 points for make)

Foul line free throw (3 points for make)

2 outside the paint on each side of rim jump shots (2 points for makes)

Layup underneath the basket (1 point for make)

Total amount of points at end of 1 min and 30 seconds

Each participant goes, the top final two compete at the same time at separate baskets for 1st place

Time: 1 min a round

5 spots around the 3 point line. Each Corner, 2 wings, top of the key

3 shots at each spot. Each ball worth 1point for make, 3rd ball at each spot will be the money ball and worth 2 points for make.

20 total possible points to make

Depending on amount of participants there will be 2 rounds. Top players will compete in final round.

Each of the 4 baskets will be used in contest.

Start line will be at half court sideline near entrance

Each player will be timed, fastest overall time

Each player must convert each of the 4 baskets (layups) to qualify for fastest time.

Player must also dribble without traveling when attempting each layup

Clock stops once final layup goes through hoop

Participants will be timed on this event as well as 3 spots during the contest to shave time off your final time if spots are converted.

Player starts on baseline of one court.

Stage 1: Dribbling through sets of cones

Stage 2: 15 ft. Chest pass into hula hoop/ 2 tries to hit. Shaves 1 second off if made on first try or .5 off id made on second try

Stage 3: Run to other court and make a 3pt shot. ( 2 tries to make it.) shave 5 seconds if converted on first try, shave 2 seconds if made on 2nd try

Stage 4: Pick up another ball and dribble through another set of cones all way and finish with a layup.

If layup is converted/ shaves 1 second off overall time ( 1 chance)

*If all 3 spots are converted, 10 seconds will be shaved off final overall time
