FAMILY RECREATIONAL SWIM

  **RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED**

Family Recreational Swim time is for the whole family. Everyone over 6 years of age must wear a bath cap.

All children under that age 14 must be accompanied by an adult IN the pool.  Children under 7 must have a ONE-TO-ONE ratio with a parent or guardian in the pool and adult must be within arm’s reach of child.  Coast Guard approved flotation devices are allowed if participant is a non-swimmer.  A PFD does not negate the need for an adult to be within arm’s reach of child.

No more than 4 children per adult.

Please be sure to follow these rules in and around the pool area. Thank you!

• Swim caps (ages 6 years and older) and bathing suits are mandatory.
• Showers must be taken prior to entering pool.
• Children 6 and younger must be accompanied by an adult within arm’s reach IN the pool during Family Swim.
• All children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult IN the pool during Family Swim.
• Band aids must be removed prior to swimming.
• No running on pool deck.
• Kick boards, barbels, and flippers are for lessons and lap swim only.
• Lifeguard on duty may decide what equipment is available to use.
• Only Coast Guard approved flotation devices are allowed on swimmers during Family Swim.  A Coast Guard approved PFD does not take the place of an adult in the water with the individual.
• Any person not potty trained must wear a close-fitting swim diaper covered by a bathing suit.

• Lifeguard has final say on all pool matters.
